How do you interpret a territory through smell, sound, and taste?
Mater Immersion Ecosystem: High Altitude Amazon is part of a new series of experiences designed to explore, one by one, the ecosystems of Peru through the methodology of Mater, an Institute of Biocultural Sciences dedicated to researching the territories, ingredients, materials, and knowledge of the country.
For 90 minutes, you stop being a visitor to join the team as a researcher. Through observation, sensory exploration, transformation, and experimentation, you will journey through different ways of interpreting the Amazon from the perspective of Mater.

You will wander through the aromas of plants, woods, seasonal leaves and barks, enter the Edible R+D laboratory, where we develop research and prototypes in constant evolution, and discover a landscape of ingredients that changes according to its processes, states and transformations.
